Why We Can FINALLY Get Excited About Burgers in Disney World

It’s the age-old question: can you get a decent burger at Disney World?

We’ll be honest — in the past, the answer would probably be no. Disney World was once known for those flavorless burger patties that have the texture of cardboard thrown on a boring bun.  But that is no longer the case. You can get a LOT of great burgers in Disney World now.

So let’s talk about all the great burgers you can now find in Disney World. Trust us; you’ll be craving a burger once we get through this list.

Cheeseburger Pods

Okay, we have to start with an old favorite. The Cheeseburger Pods at Satu’li Canteen in Disney’s Animal Kingdom are one of our favorite snacks EVER. It’s basically a Cheeseburger stuffed inside a Bao bun and it’s literally perfect.

This is a menu item we order over and over again. (And we do!)

Cheeseburger Spring Rolls

While technically NOT a burger, the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls at the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom have all the flavors that qualify them for this list. This is the best way to eat a cheeseburger in Disney World without getting anything on your shirt.

The flavors just work with the crispy spring rolls, and we’re always going back for more.

Bison Cheeseburger

Tucked away at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is Geyser Point Bar & Grill, an underrated restaurant that has one of the best burgers in Disney World: the Bison Cheeseburger. The cheeseburger comes topped with bacon, sweet crispy onion straws, marionberry sauce, lettuce, tomato, and garlic aioli.

One thing we like is although it is bison, it doesn’t taste gamey at all, and the meat is always tender and juicy.

Stack Burger

If you’re staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, you’ll want to head on over to Steakhouse 71 for the Stack Burger. It’s made with a signature blend of beef, American cheese, lemon aïoli, red onion, and house-made pickles and topped with a piece of pork belly. Yes, this burger is a meat lover’s dream.

It’s got a greasy diner-style thing going on for it, and we mean that in the best way possible.

French Bistro Burger

We’re heading back into the parks for this burger. The French Bistro Burger can be found at Connections Cafe & Eatery in EPCOT. It’s made with a Gourmet Beef Blend, Caramelized Onions, Bacon, Brie, Mushrooms, and Dijon Mayonnaise on a Toasted Brioche Bun. The patty is good, but those toppings are what make this good burger great.

You also get some big fat bacon slices on it, which is always a win in our book.

Salmon Burger

The Salmon Burger at Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill in Disney Springs blew our minds the first time we had it. It comes with avocado, butter lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, and tartar sauce, and although that sounds basic, this burger is anything but.

This is the same fresh, wild-caught salmon this restaurant uses for their filets, which makes for a juicy and tender burger we can’t put down.

D-Luxe Burger

Over in Disney Springs, we’ll pretty much order ANY burger at D-Luxe that’s available. The seasonal offerings are usually great, and we can highly recommend the Southern Burger or French Onion Burger when they’re available. However, we don’t think you could go wrong with ANY burger from this dining spot.

This is just the TIP of the iceberg when it comes to great burgers at Disney World. Things are only getting better for burger lovers who visit the resort, and we can’t wait to see what delicious burger Disney comes up with next.
